The fall colors arrive below the Santa Fe Rail line heading toward Prescott Arizona. I had spotted this group of trees from the highway as everything else was green except this pocket of gold! It took me some time to find the right composition as I wanted to get the "Santa Fe" in the frame with the fall colors. I was lucky to get a peek of sun from the overcast cloud cover.
I was heading to Prescott to photograph a wedding and had some time up in the Northern part of Arizona and Southern Utah. When I talked to the couple and their family about my adventure I showed them this photo and they were so excited since the groom's grandfather worked for Santa Fe... I am going to send this image to him as a gift and I hope it brings him great memories of his family... It is awesome to me as a photographer that you can create such emotion from something so simple as a click of the shutter.
